Craig is an accomplished attorney with ten years of broad experience in commercial litigation with a focus on securities litigation. His current practice involves litigating securities and business-related lawsuits and advising clients with respect to related matters. He is a published author with excellent academic credentials.
Craig has litigated and managed large, complex lawsuits in state and federal courts across the country, including securities class action lawsuits brought under the federal securities laws, merger-related litigation and shareholder actions alleging breach of fiduciary duty.
Craig is a member of the Managed Funds Association and represents private equity and hedge funds and their managers in regulatory and litigation matters. Craig has also represented broker/dealers and their advisors in NASD/FINRA arbitrations.
Before joining Krevolin & Horst, Craig practiced in the Securities Litigation Group at Alston & Bird in their Atlanta and New York office.

- Litigated claims on behalf of institutional clients in various plaintiff actions, including individual op-out securities suits, claims by a private equity firm against sellers of business for breach of warranty, and breach of contract claims in United States Court of Claims.
- Represented Georgia-based private equity fund and its general partner in Alabama litigation brought by sellers of acquired portfolio company.
- Represented/advised offshore hedge fund associated with Refco.
- Represented/advised New York based real estate hedge fund in connection with potential investments and ongoing business strategies.
- Represented broker-dealer in two week NASD arbitration in New Orleans brought by customers of deceased registered representative who allegedly ran ponzi scheme resulting in millions of dollars in losses.
- Represented broker-dealer and its registered representative in class action, SEC, and Georgia Securities Commissioner proceedings. Successfully represented registered representative in criminal trial alleging theft of client funds.
- Defended national REIT in New York state court suit brought by former limited partners in real estate partnership. Appeal to the New York Court of Appeals resulted in decision of first impression under New York law.
- Represented investment banker in FDIC receivership case alleging that the investment banker aided and abetted the bank’s officer and directors in connection with purchase of brokered deposits and mortgage backed securities.
- Represented failed/troubled banks in cases against United States arising from enactment of FIRREA brought in the United States Court of Claims.
