Our corporate team successfully negotiated an asset sale on behalf of its client, The Rainmaker Group Ventures, for $300 million in cash. Rainmaker, headquartered in Alpharetta, GA, is a premier provider of profit optimization and revenue intelligence solutions to the multifamily, hospitality and gaming industries. Rainmaker sold its Rainmaker LRO multifamily housing business and product portfolio to RealPage, Inc., a publicly traded provider of software and data analytics to the real estate industry based in Richardson, Texas.
Rainmaker has been a client since the software company’s inception in 1998, and we have provided legal support to Rainmaker with respect to corporate, litigation and employment matters for the life of the company. Our team was led by corporate attorneys, Gerardo “Gerry” M. Balboni, Douglas P. Krevolin, Michael G. Karamat, and Jocelyn S. Ho.
