About Jake

Before joining the firm, Jake clerked for Judge Adalberto Jordan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in Miami, Florida and practiced civil litigation in the Atlanta offices of two international law firms.

While attending law school at the University of Georgia, Jake was an Editor of the Georgia Law Review and was a member of the moot court and mock trial teams, winning the Talmadge Moot Court Competition, the South Texas Mock Trial Team Challenge, the England Mock Trial Tournament, and the J. Ralph Beaird Closing Argument Competition. He also represented clients working in the Child Endangerment and Appellate Litigation Clinics.

Jake was named a Rising Star by Georgia Super Lawyers (2023) and One to Watch by Best Lawyers in America (2024). He is also a member of the Atlanta Lawyers Club, was inducted into the National Order of Barristers (2017), and was selected to serve as a Barrister in Atlanta’s Lumpkin Inn of Court and Bleckley Inn of Court.
