8-figure Pre-Suit Settlement Against Directors and Officers of Failed Bank

Joyce Gist Lewis secured a $14 million settlement against the former officers of a community bank in Puerto Rico after demonstrating that the officers breached their fiduciary duties and failed to comply with representations made to regulators as a condition of being permitted to transfer mortgage servicing from the bank’s holding company to the bank.


Commission Claim Resolved

Halsey Knapp and Adam Sparks represented a sales representative for a residential home building company who, after selling 35 new home, was terminated without cause.  We filed and resolved an AAA arbitration relating to commissions he had earned. (November 2018.)
