Growing on at K&H – A Newly-Named Partner and Three More Attorneys Join

We are pleased to announce Jess Gabel Cino has become a Partner of the firm after joining KH in early 2021 as Counsel. Jess focuses her practice primarily on litigation and crisis management representing clients in complex business disputes involving breach of contract; bankruptcy, restructuring, and workouts; distressed assets; lender liability; fraud; tortious interference; and other business torts and statutory claims. She also has a subspeciality in entertainment and technology contracts. Jess is also a tenured, full professor at Georgia State University College of Law and brings expertise in fraud and forensic matters, corporate liability, and technology issues. Jess clerked for Judge Peter T. Fay of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.

Andy Pierce (Tulane; Brown University), Partner, joins us after serving as General Counsel for BCD Travel, a multi-national corporate travel management and consulting company. Prior to BCD, Andy practiced in the corporate and technology groups at Kilpatrick Townsend based in Atlanta. He has over 20 years of corporate and technology law experience. He focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity/venture capital transactions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, international transactions, and technology and other commercial transactions.

Guinevere Christmann (University of Virginia; New York University Law), Counsel, joins as counsel after serving as in-house real estate counsel for two publicly traded companies and practicing at two AmLaw 100 law firms. Guinevere has counseled Fortune 500, Fortune 1000, and private companies in real estate matters including purchase and sale, leasing, finance and development, advising clients in manufacturing, distribution, health care, finance, retail, and technology sectors. She also served as a judicial clerk to a federal trial court judge and practiced as a corporate finance attorney, representing clients in complex domestic and international transactional matters.

Alissa Cummo (University of Georgia; University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill), Counsel, will focus her practice on commercial real estate who represents owners, developers and lenders on a variety of commercial real estate matters. Her expertise is representing sellers, buyers and lenders throughout the life cycle of a commercial real estate closing for all types of real property, including raw land, retail centers, office buildings, self-storage facilities, industrial, mixed use and medical offices. Alissa brings over 15 years’ experience representing a diverse client base on title matters, leasing, financing, and development projects.
