In April 2016, Joyce Gist Lewis gave a continuing legal education (CLE) presentation at the State Bar of Georgia on the topic of Cybersecurity Best Practices for the Small Law Firm. Her presentation focused on the importance of employee education and formal data security planning in preventing data breaches and on the ethical obligations of attorneys to protect client information and other personally-identifiable information from unauthorized access.
