New team to lead expansion of the firm’s work in three key areas, Jeffrey D. Horst and Douglas P. Krevolin to continue as Founding Partners
Two of the region’s most respected law firms have combined forces to create a powerhouse woman-owned firm, marking a new chapter for Krevolin Horst. Acclaimed litigator, author and thought-leader Allegra Lawrence-Hardy joins KH Partners Joyce Gist Lewis and Cristiane “Crissy” Wolfe, as Co-Managing Partners. Douglas P. Krevolin and Jeffrey D. Horst will remain at the firm as Founding Partners and will continue to manage and grow their active and vibrant transactional (Doug) and litigation (Jeff) practices. Built on years of collaboration and respect, this new chapter is rooted in shared values: integrity, authenticity, and the belief that a diverse team of experts with different lived experiences and perspectives is key to delivering excellence and incomparable counsel to clients. All of the Atlanta lawyers, paralegals and staff from Lawrence-Hardy’s previous firm, including partners Lisa Haldar and Lovita Tandy, have also joined KH. The addition creates unparalleled capacity to expand and deepen KH’s work in current practice areas and enables strategic growth in three areas: Crisis Management and Internal Investigations, DEI Defense, and Complex Litigation. The firm will continue to service a range of clients as diverse as KH’s team, including Fortune 100 companies, publicly traded and private companies, local governments, individual business owners, stakeholders, entrepreneurs, and nonprofit entities.
“This powerhouse leadership team is exactly what we envisioned as we thought about how to ensure the next incarnation of KH remains true to its core values, effectively meets the evolving challenges our clients face, and is positioned for transformational growth,” said Jeff Horst, Founding Partner. “They each bring exceptional expertise, leadership, and commitment to driving visionary change.”
“This new chapter, with Allegra, Joyce, and Crissy assuming leadership roles, is the culmination of our strategic planning process that began several years ago. Together, they will be a dynamic force in the marketplace, and we are very excited about the future of KH,” said Doug Krevolin, Founding Partner.
“We will continue to offer a different approach and unique value proposition,” said Allegra Lawrence-Hardy, Co-Managing Partner. “We believe that the highest quality work requires us as a team to bring our whole selves, our different lived experiences and to engage in the kind of authentic collaboration that leads to effective, innovative problem solving.”
“Our clients are navigating a range of issues including high-stakes litigation, complex negotiations, and shifts in the regulatory, political, legislative, legal and business landscape,” said Joyce Gist Lewis, Co-Managing Partner. “We’ve cultivated an extensive bench of talent that is unmatched in its ability to deliver smart, effective solutions that are integral to our clients’ success and our firm’s own long-term growth.”
“Our team and client dynamics are built around trust, integrity, respect, honest communication, and, ultimately, friendship,” said Crissy Wolfe, Co-Managing Partner, “principles which serve as the same foundation for our client relationships. As we expand and scale up our work across the firm, we’re focused on continuing to deliver the sophistication and rigor of a large law firm with the nimble and agile client service our clients expect and deserve.”
