Early Voting Protected for Voters in Georgia’s Senate Runoff

Krevolin & Horst’s Election Law Practice is proud to have worked with Elias Law Group, Warnock for Georgia, and others on emergency litigation ensuring Georgia voters could cast their ballots on a Saturday in advance of the December 6 runoff. More than 70,000 voters went to the polls this past Saturday (and over 87,000 more on Sunday) to cast a ballot for incumbent Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock or for Herschel Walker. You can find more detail on the litigation and on Georgia voter turnout in the articles below.

Our Election Law team fights for candidates, campaigns, nonprofit organizations, and especially for voters every day. KH strongly supports access to the polls for all eligible voters. Read more on voter suppression and what it means in an essay by our client’s founding partner here; as he succinctly puts it, “the question is not whether voters can overcome the barrier to voting, but whether the barrier to voting is real and unlawful”

Polls are also open in all 159 counties in Georgia through Friday, December 2 and on Election Day, Tuesday, December 6. If you haven’t voted yet, we hope you go to the polls without delay – don’t let your vote go to waste!
