Krevolin & Horst Defeats Motion for Preliminary Injunction and Achieves Walk-Away Settlement on Behalf of Former Franchisee

Krevolin & Horst attorneys Halsey G. Knapp, Jr. and Kana Caplan recently represented five parties accused of violating restrictive covenants to their former franchisor, Liberty Tax.  Liberty Tax requested that the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia enjoin the former franchisee.  Knapp and Caplan defeated the Motion for a Preliminary Injunction and resolved the case through a walk-away settlement.    The case is JTH TAX LLC d/b/a Liberty Tax Service v. Leslie N. Pierce, James E. Axley, LNPA Services LLC, Ax Holdings Inc. and Nest Financial Services LLC, 1:22-cv-1237 (N.D. Ga).
