Jenn takes pride in her writing, research, and analytical skills, her ability to quickly cut to the heart of complicated issues, and being over-communicative with clients, ensuring they understand what is happening at every stage of a case. She draws on these capabilities to successfully manage a practice that spans multiple industries and legal disciplines.
- Employment Law. Jenn helps businesses of all sizes and their managers and executives traverse the ever-evolving landscape of employment law. She works proactively with employers to minimize risk by providing day-to-day counseling, drafting policies and handbooks, conducting training and compliance programs, and advising on workplace laws and best practices. Jenn represents clients in disputes involving alleged discrimination or retaliation, wage and hour claims, non-compete clauses and other restrictive covenants, trade secrets, and intellectual property, among other issues. Her active employment practice, continuing education seminars, and membership in the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) help Jenn stay on top of emerging issues and best practices. Equal parts fierce advocate in court and trusted advisor to HR and leadership teams, Jenn provides clear, actionable guidance tailored to each client’s unique workforce challenges and business needs.
- Business Disputes. Jenn represents companies, officers, directors, and investors in high-stakes business disputes, including business divorces, shareholder disputes, fiduciary duty claims, cases involving trade secrets and intellectual property, breach of contract claims, governance disputes, and other complex commercial litigation matters. Jenn brings a strategic and results-driven approach to each matter. She understands that these cases are not just legal battles; they are high-risk business problems that demand practical, forward-thinking solutions. Where possible, Jenn helps clients resolve disputes early, often through pre-suit negotiation or mediation. But Jenn does not take cases that she is not willing to see through to trial, and opposing parties and counsel know that she is not afraid of taking a case to verdict. Clients trust Jenn to aggressively protect their interests while keeping an eye on their long-term business goals.
- Representation of Lawyers and Law Firms. Law firms and attorneys turn to Jenn when faced with bar complaints, sanctions motions, partnership disputes, malpractice claims, and other bet-the-company matters that pull lawyers away from what they do best: representing clients. Jenn understands the high stakes involved in professional liability matters and the importance of protecting reputations and livelihoods. She also advises lawyers and firms on lateral moves, firm departures, and partnership transitions, helping clients navigate the legal and ethical complexities that arise when lawyers join or leave a firm. She offers strategic and effective—and where needed, discreet—representation for attorneys and firms in need of counsel.
- Education. Jenn represents students, educators, educational institutions in a wide range of legal matters affecting schools, colleges, universities, and graduate programs, including law school, medical school, and medical internship and residency programs. She handles student discipline matters, Professional Standards Commission investigations, administrative tribunals, and other matters involving professional licensing and ethics enforcement. She also uses her knowledge of the specialized laws and regulations governing educational institutions to advise schools and school systems on employment law and other legal issues of general applicability.
- Government, Elections, and Public Sector Law. An otherwise straightforward problem can become infinitely more complex when a government actor is involved, because of intersecting federal, state, and local laws and regulations, intense public scrutiny, and rapidly changing legal and political landscapes. These unique needs demand specialized experience. Jenn represents individuals, government organizations, and private entities in a variety of high-stakes matters involving political law, government contracts, and the public sector. Her practice in this nuanced area of law includes:
- Representing successful offerors and frustrated bidders in government contracting disputes, helping clients navigate procurement challenges, bid protests, and regulatory compliance.
- Representing whistleblowers in cases involving fraud on the government, leveraging federal and state False Claims Act statutes to hold bad actors accountable.
- Litigating complex cases for and against municipalities, counties, agencies and boards, and other governmental bodies, tackling issues involving constitutional claims, governmental liability, and regulatory enforcement.
- Advising and representing politicians, campaigns, political action committees, political parties, elected officials, and judges in litigation and administrative matters.
Jenn came to Krevolin & Horst in 2024, having been drawn to the Firm’s exceptional people, its track record of success, and its innovative and entrepreneurial spirit. As part of a full service firm with corporate and real-estate capabilities as well as a robust litigation practice, Jenn frequently collaborates with colleagues in other practice areas to address a wider range of clients’ needs than a litigation practice alone is equipped to handle.
Before joining Krevolin & Horst, Jenn was a partner at a respected litigation boutique firm, and before that, an associate at a large national law firm. She also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Timothy C. Batten, Sr. in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, Atlanta and Newnan Divisions. Her clerkship gave her invaluable insight to how judges view cases, helping her be a more effective advocate for her clients. Jenn is frequently called upon to serve as co-counsel, local counsel, or trial counsel with other lawyers in the Northern District of Georgia.
An Atlanta native, Jenn lives in Sandy Springs and is actively involved in numerous professional and civic organizations, including serving as President of the Atlanta Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, serving on the Georgia Leadership Board and National Board Development Committee for the Arthritis Foundation, and coaching the high school mock trial team at her alma mater, Riverwood International Charter School, part of the Fulton County School District.
